This self-paced e-learning course provides participants with an overview of the key elements of IFC Performance Standard 1: Assessment and Management of Environmental and Social Risks and Impacts. Through the course, using a practical case study, participants will explore how to: 1) conduct a process of environmental and social assessment and 2) establish and maintain an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS). IFC Performance Standard 1 serves as a foundation and is applicable to all projects that have E&S risks and impacts.
